These Terms of Service govern all compliance audits, statutory surveys, and testing services commissioned with CertiVest London. By placing a booking online, by email, or via our telephone booking desk, you agree to these operational terms.
CertiVest London arranges certified testing for Commercial & Domestic EICR, Landlord Gas Safety (CP12/CP42), Commercial EPC, Fire Door Inspections, Emergency Lighting Audits, and Fire Risk Assessments. All testing strictly complies with applicable British Standards (BS 7671, BS 5266, BS 8214) and statutory UK health and safety frameworks.
The client is responsible for ensuring clear, safe, and unrestricted access to all relevant property zones (including consumer units, gas meters, plant rooms, and risers) at the scheduled inspection time. If an inspector cannot gain safe access due to unnotified restrictions or absent keyholders, an aborted survey attendance fee may apply.
All surveys reflect true on-site safety conditions. An inspection resulting in an "Unsatisfactory" outcome (such as C1/C2 electrical codes or at-risk gas installations) does not constitute a failure of service by CertiVest London. In such instances, we provide full transparent defect reports alongside competitive itemized remedial estimates.
Digital certificates and statutory audit reports are issued via email within 24 to 48 hours of completed inspection, contingent upon timely settlement of the agreed fixed fees. Expedited same-day dispatch must be agreed in advance with our compliance desk.
Bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours' written notice prior to the allocated engineer time slot. Cancellations made inside 24 hours of dispatch may incur a reasonable engineer cancellation charge.
